Otta's take

Theo Margolius

COO of Otta

Artscapy was founded by two collectors who wanted to break down the barriers of entry to the art world. To do this, they have built a digital ecosystem to support every fine art collector on their journey.

Built by collectors, for collectors, the platform's features are focused on serving the needs of this group. This includes a collection management system to securely manage and visualise insights for every collection, a marketplace to explore the best contemporary fine art, authenticity and provenance tracking on the blockchain, and editorial content and forum discussions.

These different aspects of the platform make collecting fine art much easier and safer than has been previously possible. The funds it raised in 2022 have been used to launch the first stage of the platform’s functionality to help the company begin its mission to usher in the digital transformation and democratisation of the art world.
