Annually, over $13B is spent on uninsured loss, whilst mortgages and auto loans are wildly expensive for the majority of borrowers. This is in part due to the fact that fleet managers, lenders, and gig services do not have access to insurance data - a problem that Axle aims to fix.

Axle, the universal API for insurance, offers instant access to insurance data for its clients. No longer needing to rely on legacy systems, paper and unnecessary phone calls to verify personal insurance information, Axle’s clients can make business decisions in a matter for minutes, rather than hours.

Founded from first-hand experience of the problem at hand, Axle is well-positioned to tackle the real issues operators are facing. The company was selected as one of Y Combinator’s Summer 2022 start-ups, and has since received good funding that will be used to grow its team, as well as support expansion into new markets as it strengthens its carrier network.
