The trillion-dollar freight forwarding industry is ripe for disruption, with 43% of the market dominated by just ten firms. Starting out as a digital freight forwarding company for SMEs, Beacon has used its experience of the customer journey and the pain points for shippers to develop a SaaS platform that gives supply chain visibility and management tools to the array of stakeholders within the supply chain.

Beacon's goal is to empower its customers, which it does by connecting supply chain data, providing them with analytical tools for rapid decision-making and giving them access to growth capital. This range of services, flexibility of its platform, and its time as a freight forwarding company allows Beacon to meet the needs of disparate stakeholders across the supply chain, from buyers to logistics managers. This has given it a major edge against its competitors' inflexible enterprise solutions.

Beacon has received funding in a Series B round with participation from Jeff Bezo. With the backing of industry leaders and its large and growing customer base, Beacon appears to be poised for future success.

Prior to Co-Founding Beacon, Fraser led Uber’s Business in EMEA and before that held senior roles in technology and e-commerce startups for over two decades.

Prior to Co-Founding Beacon, Dmitri was the General Manager of Uber in Russia and prior to that worked as a Management Consultant in New York.
