Otta's take

Sam Franklin

CEO of Otta

The landscape of online bootcamps and masterclasses is becoming oversaturated and mass-produced. It is becoming increasingly difficult for students to navigate to courses that are relevant to them and within their budget.

Career Karma provides support platforms for students that aid in finding online education that is personalized and affordable to them on an individual basis. The service is free to use, but the startup charges bootcamps a 10% fee after successfully enrolling a student on their program.

Whilst the company currently focuses on matching students to bootcamps, the company now provides peer-to-peer mentorship and coaching matches for its students which has bought it impressive growth in user base.
