Otta's take

Xav Kearney headshot

Xav Kearney

CTO of Otta

Club Feast’s proposition is a breath of fresh air in the cluttered food delivery market: a small selection of plates from a large selection of restaurants, ordered in advance using credits, pre-ordered and delivered all for no more than $9 each.

Its pre-order delivery service model is an interesting niche with huge potential. Advance ordering simplifies technical and logistical processes for Club Feast, in addition to smoothing the way for restaurant partners. A review-sensitive menu ensures customer satisfaction, even if the variety is lean. Plus, its focus on advance-ordered routine meals carves out a market sufficiently distinct from the likes of Uber Eats and Deliveroo to offer real growth opportunities.

With plans to expand nationally beyond its successful San Francisco beginnings, Club Feast’s concept is innovative and exciting - and attracting both funding and buzz. Other entrepreneurs, and perhaps food delivery giants themselves, are sure to be watching its progress.
