  • Our goal is to make finance and investing accessible to anyone. As an industry traditionally associated with men, this is a huge challenge, and to do this we will need diverse ideas and input from across our product, growth, community, sales and content teams
  • As we are growing the team rapidly we have a huge opportunity to broaden the diversity of our team, and are committing efforts to do so. These include:
  • We have already made significant strides to broaden the gender diversity of our global community of users. Back in 2018, 10% of our event attendees identified as female. Today this stands at 45%. This has been due to a number of initiatives:
  • Offering a best in class benefits package (including 16-18% employer pension contributions and UK-leading parental leave of up to 40 weeks full pay)
  • Female investing book clubs and investing workshops
  • Taking measures to ensure more applications from underrepresented demographics, including screening for gender-biased language, displaying salary ranges and avoiding unnecessary requirements
  • Female Financial Dialogue event series aimed at empowering more women to get involved with finance
  • Continuing to invest in internships where possible to improve our entry-level offerings
