Despite being fully remote, the fun, compassionate, caring and strong team vibes are clear throughout every department. All hands and team updates really show how much everyone is keen to collaborate, solve problems, and get through all the ups and downs together.

We already have a distributed team, so it's easy to not feel like the odd one out by doing some travelling, or just managing your time responsibly. Minimal meetings (only one teamwide every fortnight), and a push for async comms to get as much focus time as possible.

It's amazing to see the huge impact travel with Flash Pack has on each and every customer - important friendships, memorable experiences, and people develop a real love for the product and company. It's great helping build such a meaningful product!

Everyone is interested in treating each other as a whole person in a helpful, mature way. Lots of people have carings commitments etc. but we spend time getting to know each other during the work day not during cheeky after work beers.

Generous spending on relevant benefits (e.g. excellent package from spill) and real flexibility to make things work. Multiple members of the team I'm in have needed a break for some reason and have been able to do so without using loads of annual leave or getting FOMO.

It's easy to overlook how lonely the world has become. For me, the pandemic really brought this into perspective - life is short, and it's the people you spend it with that matter most. I've always wanted to get the most out of life and I love that Flash Pack makes that easy for me and thousands of others.

For most startups, honesty is something that is said, but not necessarily done. But I can honestly say, Flash Pack is the most honest company I have ever worked for, from the founders Radha and Lee, all through the company. As just one example, we have a compensation calculator which can be seen by anyone in the company, so you can easily understand the options available.

At Flash Pack, taking care of yourself so you can be healthy in the long run is very much encouraged. I met up with one of our co-founders, Lee, in my second week and the first thing he said to me was "I love that you blocked out time in your calendar to go for a walk! I hope more of us can do that." I can't imagine a clearer signal that I can prioritise my own health and wellbeing.

Great company with a great mission - you really feel part of the mission and management take time to explain how you fit in to achieving the company goals. Work is meaningful and everyone is nice to work with. To top it all off, it is a very high growth and mentally challenging environment which results in alot of learnings every single day and great career progression.

Work is meaningful at Flash Pack because it is well explained how your work impacts the company mission. Management are focused on auto-mating mundane admin work where possible to free up capacity to work on more meaningful and impactful projects.

This tone is set from the top. It is clear that good quality and hard working is part of the culture and is rewarded with career progression. Hard working is not defined by number of hours, just by how impactful you are on the mission of the company.
