Meaningful work

We are working hard to close the language barrier. All too often barriers perpetuate inequity and contribute to an unevenness in opportunities. Our product enhances the power of speaking users’ native languages. On top, Lokalise enables initiatives like sustainability, social responsibility, or volunteering. I don't need to let my personal values on the (theoretical, we are remote) door - I can make an impact together with Lokalise.

Flexible working

Working remotely means we manage our energy - not our time and so I find space for everything that matters to me while giving it my all at work. Coming from the big corporate world I felt I have no power over my time. At Lokalise we are remote, are on our way to master async work and have full ownership over our time and how we want to work. So for me, being a chef and hippie in my private life, there is enough time for cooking and nature walks while using my biological rhythm and getting work done early in the mornings.

Nice people

Lokalisers are smart, friendly and really helpful people. It's great working with them. Even if we are a remote team and we only met for few times in real life, the bongs are really strong.

Open and honest communication

Transparency is key at Lokalise. We communicate openly on slack and everybody is welcome to share their opinions/suggestions. I also like the fact that we are encourage that there is no bad idea when we're brainstorming about something.

Supportive management

My manager is very supportive. He cares about my development and encourages me to pursue any training/course I wish for myself. I also feel that I can discuss anything with my manager and find support if I need it.

Opportunities to learn

There are so many cross-functional projects to get involved in, as well as encouragement to go and seek new opportunities and learn from others. As part of onboarding, there are also sessions to learn from and speak to other teams, as well as budget to spend on courses, certifications and conferences etc

Flexible working

There are no rigid 'working hours' and each employee is given the autonomy to find a working pattern that works for them and their team. I frequently switch up my working hours and even locations depending on what I have going on outside of work.

Clear values

There are dedicated Values sessions to learn what the values mean at Lokalise and we have recently just come back from a whole company offsite in Portugal, where we defined the values and what that means for our teams ways of working and how to reflect these in our individual behaviours. We also celebrate individuals and teams demonstrating our values on a regular basis!
