MoonPay are building retail crypto infrastructure in a box in order to accelerate cryptocurrency adoption. Using MoonPay's API, companies are able to offer their customers the option to buy and sell crypto within their own platforms. It also provides a direct-to-consumer offering to users wanting to trade crypto. MoonPay currently supports a whole host of cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ether, as well as for non-fungible tokens (NFTs), globally.
Since launching, MoonPay has secured over 250 partners and has team members located across four continents. The company raised significant funding and has upped its efforts to onboard clients into the Web3 space via the acquisition of creative agency Nightshift. Despite crypto market troubles in late 2022 and 2023, it appears that MoonPay is still thriving.
