Uncapped provides interest and equity-free revenue-based investments of between £10k and £10m, allowing founders to access fair and flexible finance. It uses various live marketing, sales and accounting data to offer finance for young businesses based on their current (and projected) revenue. Uncapped makes money by charging a flat fee on the capital provided which is paid back from future sales revenue.
By refining its proprietary technology, Uncapped has been able to reduce the time it takes to make a lending decision from three days to just hours. It's made quite the mark on the industry, recently being identified as the second fasted growing Fintech in Europe after growing by over 500% in 2021. A recent partnership with PingPong offers merchants with payment methods, tools, and capital they need to scale.
The platform was initially established to provide founders with capital to fund digital ad spend and repeatable growth, with a belief that equity is a far inferior way of funding these operations. This innovative model is not without risk. Unlike VCs, who can afford to make many bets in the hope of a runway success, Uncapped's loan structure means it needs its whole portfolio to succeed.
