Blenheim Chalcot are a digital startup venture builder. They raise funding and provide operational support for fledgling companies to allow them to focus on building an exceptional product to take to market. They take a different approach than their more traditional competitors by investing knowledge, experience, ideas and infrastructure as well as funds. Companies are started in-house and given everything they need to become a successful tech firm.
They specialise in tech startups and more recently have branched into healthcare tech, a rapidly expanding sector. Companies in their portfolio include Salary Finance, which enables employers across the UK to pay off an employee’s loan and reissue one via their salary with a better rate of interest, and credit scoring firm ClearScore.
Blenheim Chalcot has had a number of significant exits in the past few years – just 3 years after its launch, ClearScore was acquired by Experian for £275m in 2018.
