I joined Papaya because of its ambitious mission to decarbonise commercial fleets. About 5% of supply chain emissions are a result of last-mile logistics and transportation, so the impact we can have as a company is very inspiring.

As an Engineer I'm blessed in the sense that I can be picky about the job that I choose and I think its important to be doing work that positively impacts the world. At Papaya we have a clear goal of electrifying fleets and bringing more efficient and greener operations to last mile logistics. The work we do here has impact and is helping make not only our customers operational lives easier but also making our cities healthier and greener.

Everyone at Papaya is very respectful of each-others schedules and we try to be as flexible with each other was we can. We know that our best work does not happen from 9-6 sitting at our desk. It's common for a member of the team to suddenly pop up in a standup from from their bedroom office on Friday and then from a beach in Majorca on Monday.
