I joined as an Executive Assistant and have been given various opportunities to lead on projects - which I absolutely love. We value feedback within the company which allows opportunity for growth and improvement. The management team also have lots of knowledge and are always happy to share information.

There is no micromanagement in RideTandem and we're trusted to do our job well. As a parent, I value the flexibility given so I can attend to my children and still do my job well in my own time when needed.

I have had more chances to skill-up as a developer at RideTandem than in any of my previous jobs. Rather than being pigeon-holed into focusing on the areas we have knowledge on, I feel like we are really encouraged (and trusted) to expand our abilities and learn from each others' strengths.

RideTandem is a very open company to work with and communication is great, both within and between teams. A flat hierarchical structure and confidence in our team empowers us to take initiatives and bring forward ideas. On a company scale where issues are not directly within my remit, I have always felt that any suggestions I make are genuinely heard and considered.

Tandem is a company with a clear social conscience that seeks to make a positive difference in people's lives. It's at the heart of the business, which aims to alleviate transport poverty and increase employment opportunities within some of the most deprived areas of the country.

Everyone has been extremely welcoming and very eager to help. There's no office politics and everyone genuinely gets on with each other. I look forward to the company socials and a great effort is made to include everyone, even those beaming in from elsewhere.

There's a real sense of excitement within the company as it continues to grow rapidly, even in a challenging economic climate. This means there is plenty of opportunity to take on responsibility and progress, which is something I value a lot.

The team is very nice and supportive! Management is putting a lot of effort to create a supportive and non-toxic environment by organising team events. Everyone gets along and is happy to help with anything at any time.

I joined RideTandem with no experience and with the help of my manager, I developed my skills super quickly and achieved great results! I learned a lot since I joined the team! I have weekly 1:2:1 meetings with my manager, where we discuss my career goals and the ways I could achieve them. I'm very grateful that RideTandem is full of opportunities and guides me toward my goals!

RideTandem is super flexible on remote working, therefore, I can work from anywhere in the world. I can now visit my family in my home country at any time of the year and work from there. It's just nice that managers are understanding and give you some freedom in managing your own schedule.

Since the day I joined I've been given the opportunity to forge my own path, and trusted to make decisions in the best interests of the company. That autonomy doesn't happen alone - there's so much opportunity to take the lead on projects and drive things forward, but always a supportive team there to lend a helping hand.

The whole team genuinely cares about what we set out to do. We care about our customers and want to make the world a better place to be - from both an environmental and social perspective - and that mission is something the whole team can get behind day after day.

While the outcome is important, we also make sure to look at and reward the work that went in to getting there. We have a really appreciative team culture and there's always a huge amount of recognition for the work people are doing, both within their teams and across different teams.
