Rippling is an online-based HR management platform helping companies deal with onboarding, payroll, benefits, and employee data. The software aims to be a one-stop shop for small to mid-size businesses, saving them time and money by managing their staff more efficiently.

Rippling claims that clients can conduct key business processes such as onboarding new hires and running payroll within 90 seconds, an appealing prospect for companies in a high-growth phase. A partnership with Carta, a leading equity management platform, has enabled Rippling to benefit from its extensive equity data and further improve its product utility.

While other companies such as Gusto and Xero also manage payroll, Rippling manages the entire employee ecosystem, including software specific to an employee's role. With the market for HR software already massive, and only projected to increase, Rippling has plenty of room to grow into the future. It has also raised considerable funding that will be used to accelerate this growth as it expands its product offerings, including its payroll and benefits services.
