Since launching in 2014, Bumble has been one of the fastest growing dating apps in the world. They now have over 75 million users and are consistently in the top 10 of lifestyle apps in the US.
Their in-app purchase revenue is growing fast. Bumble was backed by the founder of Badoo, who leveraged Badoo's ~500 million users to help it grow.
Bumble's founder and CEO was a co-founder and VP of Marketing at Tinder (she ultimately left among allegations of sexism at the company). This would have given her great insights and experience into the dating market as it began to come online.
Bumble is the parent company that operates Badoo and Bumble, two of the world’s largest dating and connection apps with a combined user base of over 600 million globally.
