Tenyks was born from a University of Cambridge doctoral research project and works to protect the world from the misuse of AI whilst helping engineers build better AI at a faster rate.
Indeed, the company is not simply adding another layer of AI, instead it is building, what it calls, a doctor for AI. Tenyks is constructing unique tools that employ statistical techniques to distil the information that the AI has learned, which helps users understand the results so they can make improvements to the accuracy of the AI whilst reducing customer acquisition costs.
The start-up achieved a spot on Y Combinator’s Summer 2021 programme and has garnered funding co-led by Speedinvest and firstminute capital. Still in its early stages, the company will invest into growing and developing its product and, to do so, will expand the software engineering team.
