The current process for this involves inefficient and time consuming back and forth communications, mostly paper based and only providing a static view of insurance coverage with no insights into policy changes or potential fraud.
TrustLayer comes in by reframing this messy and unstructured problem by automating the management and verification of certificates of insurance with AI & machine learning technology. As a SaaS platform, TrustLayer fees vary depending on the size of the user, with sole proprietors and large enterprises paying for an unlimited number of monthly insurance verification checks.
A member of BrokerTech Ventures and BrushCreek Tech Insurance accelerators, TrustLayer is smartly moving into collaboration instead of competition. The company is working with industry leader The Institutes RiskStream Collaborative™ and several of its consortium members to create a proof of concept for the industry’s first certificate of insurance verification solution.
