Otta's take

A school’s student information system (SIS) works as a repository for crucial pupil data - but it doesn’t work particularly well. Traditionally, this data is tricky and costly to integrate with all the non-interoperable third-party apps required for teaching and pupil management. This leaves administrators and teachers updating systems manually, occupying valuable time and resources as well as opening up error and privacy vulnerabilities.

Wonde’s solution is a valuable one: schools upload and manage their school data onto a single platform, which is subsequently and automatically synched with third party apps of the school's choice. In this way, apps can be employed without developer delay, with less human error, and schools remain in command of their own data privacy.

Wonde has seen remarkable growth for its efforts too, bolstered by an impressively quick solution for free school’s meals that the company implemented in 2021. With nearly 25,000 schools using its technology in the UK and Australia (in the latter of which Wonde commands a 20% market share) it’s clear that Wonde has landed on a truly penetrative solution.
