The people at Yoke Network are amazing! I've been very happy working with all of my coworkers. Everyone is very helpful and friendly with great understanding of collaborative environment.
Opportunities to learn
I've been learning a lot since I joined the Yoke Network. Not only I've learned lots of practical concepts in software development but also I've been learning a lot in other fields like personal improvement, time management, effective team collaboration, and such. Also, we frequently have company wide learning sessions which I found very helpful.

Everything is communicated transparently. Each Monday, the entire company sit down together and discuss and plan what needs to be done for the week. Also, at the end of each week, we gather together and share our highlights and learnings of the week with everyone in the company.

Every month we have at least one learnings presentation hosted by a different team or individual to give everyone the opportunity to educate the wider company on what they are working on, recent findings, etc. It's great to see how everyone's work impacts one another.

Their is nothing worse than being micro-managed! Since joining Yoke, I feel trusted as an expert in what I do. I have been given the freedom to fulfil my responsibilities in a manner that feels natural to me, whilst safe in the knowledge that support is always available when I need it.

It creates an amazing energy throughout the team seeing your hard work pay off and know that you played a big part in the successes. As we continue to grow, I have given more responsibility than any other company I have worked for. It makes me feel valued in my role and speaks to the trust that our leadership have in the team.

Yoke truly is a place where no question is silly and all opinions are welcome. If have an idea on how to improve the business, where to allocate more time or even on where we should hold the next monthly social, no thought is discarded without being genuinely considered. If your idea can add value to the business and has been well thought through, there is no ego involved in putting it into practise.

We hold regular hackathons to solve problems across the team! We are actively encouraged to problem solve and if we think something can be done better, we have the agency to make the change! The founders are working on the ground and always want to hear feedback on how we can improve
