Onto offers an all-inclusive electric vehicle subscription service. For a flat monthly fee, customers get the latest electric cars with insurance, servicing, breakdown cover and free public charging at thousands of locations in the UK. The company has already secured network partnerships with Shell, BP, and Tesla.

Growth in the sales of electric cars is being held back by the expensive prices associated with the vehicles. In fact, the premium paid for electric cars is a concern for more than half of UK consumers, according to a poll conducted on behalf of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders. Onto's subscription model is therefore presenting a solution to this problem, focusing primarily on accessibility and affordability.

Since 2017, Onto has expanded rapidly and now accounts for close to 5% of all new UK electric vehicle registrations monthly. It is the largest electric vehicle fleet in the UK, and has raised considerable funding to further grow the number of cars it controls - as well as to enable it to add the newest electric car models to the fleet.
