It's one thing to be smart but another thing to be a smart team player that is a pure joy to work with. Incident.io solely hires intelligent people that care about the company, the work they produce, and each other. It's a lot of fun and I can't recommend it enough.

The founders are experienced, driven, inspiring and (this will go to their heads) really quite hilarious. Very enjoyable to be around and are generally very effective people. They hire smart people to do the work so they don't have to micro-manage, and it's a breath of fresh air.

At incident.io we get the last friday of every month off (paid) to recharge and it makes all the difference. We do company offsites (Edinburgh, Lisbon), regular company-wide and team dinners, and have a budget of £1k a year to spend on anything that will make us better at our job. Lastly, theres an endless stream of dogs that come to visit the office <3

I get so much energy from working with a group of lovely, smart people, both directly in product/engineering and across the whole company. Everyone is ready to help out and bounce ideas around!

We have shared Slack channels with a lot of our customers, which means everyone gets to connect with our customers and understand their problems, which also means we're really in touch with how fast we're growing (which is very fast!)

Before I joined I worked at a customer of incident.io, so I know how useful the product is! In just the last few months we've shipped gamechanging features and there's so much more to come :)

The team at incident.io are by far the most intelligent and driven people I've ever worked with. The sense of team effort is massive and everybody cares about the bigger picture and not just about their own workload.

By being one of the first hires in my team, I've had input into so many different aspects of the role from strategy to tooling and hiring others. There is s great mixture of healthy debate and respect of my previous experience.

The co-founders have an incredible amount of combined experience. Their combined experience means many of the usual startup growing pains don't exist as they come prepared. Team meetings don't feel forced or overdone which is very refreshing.

We really care about building a diverse team, and we're willing to grow slower as a result. It's incredibly important for us to build the team we want from day 0 - instead of getting off on the wrong foot and then having to course correct. Diversity is going to make us a better team - it's not a nice to have.

The product is really exciting - I used it before joining the company. It's everything I wished I had during incidents. Our customers love the product and give us loads of great feedback, which I find really motivating. We're solving a real-world problem that's incredibly tangible, and there's still so much to do!

The team is excellent - incredibly talented and committed. Everyone is willing to pitch in - doing both the exciting stuff and the less glamorous work.
