Since being at nate I have met employees in both London and New York who are from all walks of life and it has been so refreshing to be working with such a diverse group of talented people.

Mental and physical health are both taken very seriously by nate and there is no judgement if you need to reach out for help or take some time away to focus on yourself. Employees wellbeing is always put first.

My colleagues are experts in their individual fields and I am learning valuable skills and information by simply being around them and observing the way in which they approach their work.

As well as being extremely genuine, nate's energy is off the charts. Our people are definitely energised by our work and the impact it's having, but we also feed off one another's enthusiasm. And through this, we're able to enjoy yourselves more and get moving quickly with decision making!

Working remotely, it is sometimes difficult to see the hard work that people outside of your immediate team are doing. During lockdown we started a "Praise" channel on Slack where employees can give public praise to their colleagues to call out specific things that they've done which is either very in line with the company values, or just generally great. It has been a great way of celebrating both big and small wins, and keep morale high.

Whenever my responsibilities at work have changed drastically, my manager has been very open to discussing compensation and make sure that my work is rewarded. I feel like they always have my back and that they want to make sure that I'm fairly compensated.

The number one best thing about nate is the people. Not only do we have such a genuinely good time at the office, but people's willingness to share knowledge across teams is really incredible. The amount of times that somebody had volunteered 30-45min on a Friday (our weekly "Professional Growth Fridays" are for learning) to talk me through a new project they are working on or explain a new piece of technology that we're trying to implement. I have never worked with such generous and genuine people before.

Everybody has the opportunity and freedom to influence the direction of nate, their tech stack and general operation.

There are fantastic benefits at nate, and every effort is made to ensure that employees are happy and healthy. There is a genuine culture of looking after yourself first and then, as a team, we'll smash out amazing features!

My colleagues at nate are an incredible bunch of people. They are experts in their field and there is a real emphasis on knowledge sharing. Friday's at nate are called PGF's, Personal Growth Friday's, where members of the team run sessions on topics they are passionate about or interested in delving deeper into.

One of nate's core principles is self care isn't selfish. nate believes that people perform their best at work when they prioritise their wellbeing. We have a monthly wellness stipend, unlimited paid time off and perks such as massages!

At nate there is so much opportunity to learn and develop. We are entering our scale up phase, which means there is still so much to do, allowing for people to get involved in new projects. It's a great environment for self starters and people that love collaborating.
