Otta's take

Theo Margolius

COO of Otta

Mental health and well-being in the workplace are increasingly being given the recognition it deserves. Employers are starting to realise that it's both financially and socially responsible for them to take an active role in supporting the mental health of their employees.

Nilo.health helps them do this with its mental health platform. Unusually in the industry, the solution provides therapists and digital content all in one place.

Recent funding will be used to expand the platform’s offering – for example, going from 22 languages to over 40. It’s all part of making mental wellbeing support more accessible and available.

The challenge for the company will be ensuring that its entire product range competes effectively with the plethora of startups each focused on developing their own narrow solution to deficiencies in mental health support in the workplace.
