Who you are
- Minimum 7 years of experience in programme management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex programmes
- Strong understanding of programme management methodologies and frameworks
- Experience in managing programme budgets, schedules, and resources
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage and mitigate programme risks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
What the job involves
- We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Programme Manager to join our PMO team
- In this role, you will be responsible for managing complex programmes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, and driving successful delivery on time and within budget
- You will work collaboratively with other programme managers, project managers, and stakeholders across the organisation to ensure programme success
- Programme Management: Lead the development and execution of complex programmes, ensuring all programme components are aligned and integrated. Develop programme plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor programme performance against established metrics
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation, including senior executives, department heads, and project managers. Communicate programme progress effectively and proactively address stakeholder concerns
- Risk Management: Identify and proactively mitigate programme risks. Develop and implement risk management plans to address potential issues and ensure programme success
- Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve programme issues. Escalate critical issues to senior management as needed
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with programme managers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure programme alignment and success. Communicate programme progress clearly and concisely to all stakeholders
- PMO Integration: Work closely with the PMO team to ensure programme adherence to established methodologies and governance processes. Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO practices and tools
