Role
Who you are
- To be successful, you have expert analytical skills and in-depth knowledge of information security best practices to prevent and resolve a wide range of security threats
- Top candidates are excellent communicators and able to train and educate our team in information security practices. It is important to be self-driven and to enjoy working together towards a common goal
- Degree in computer science or a technology-related field
- Professional information security certification
- More than 3 years’ experience in an information security role in the Tech sector
- Solid understanding of relevant laws, regulations and standards related to information security (amongst which ISO27001/2)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
What the job involves
- We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Security Officer to design, implement and enforce security policies and procedures in our Tech and Product teams located in Sweden, the Netherlands and Poland
- Together with the information security responsible from our Risk and Compliance team you form the Information Security Office
- You are responsible for identifying security improvements and weaknesses and working with our Tech and Product teams to resolve these, ensuring that our network and data remain secure
- As part of our strategy, we make significant investments in harmonizing our auction platforms
- We have created a white-label storefront website to support our auctioning brands and are migrating all our brands to this storefront in line with our vision “Better together”
- While learning from our integration efforts we continue building new features at the same time
- You have an essential role in this transition to ensure a security mindset among the developers and to ensure that security best practices are created and followed

To support more sustainable trade, TBAuctions supplies an auction platform specifically for used B2B goods. The company's online intelligent auctions use a proprietary cross-border platform (ATLAS) to connect buyers and sellers, offering a seamless self-serve experience.
A feature of TBAuction's tech is that it is able to balance demand and supply, creating a robust marketplace that can best serve traders on both sides. Millions of products are auctioned through the platform every year, a testament to the value of TBA's offering.
Now pursuing global expansion, the company acquired industrial auctioneer Surplex. This move will support growth in numerous countries including Spain, Poland, Portugal and Romania. It also bolsters TBAuctions' presence in Germany, France and Italy, adding deep expertise in metal and woodworking.
