Who you are

  • You will have an entrepreneurial spirit, be solutions focused with a collaborative approach
  • This role requires a deep understanding of social across paid owned and earned including content approach, influencer dynamics and building our beauty brand online
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field. Advanced degree or certifications are a plus
  • Proven experience +5 years in social media marketing, preferably in a senior or managerial role
  • A strong understanding of the beauty industry having worked brand-side or within an agency that has a strong beauty roster
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, influencer dynamics, and digital marketing trends
  • Strong communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically, with a results-driven mindset
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities, with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with analytics tools and metrics to measure campaign performance
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to influencer marketing
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving priorities

What the job involves

  • As a Senior Manager Social - Beauty you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing social media marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty
  • We are looking for a beauty leader in the social space who lives and breathes beauty
  • You will be setting the strategic direction for Shark Beauty’s social media presence across key social platforms to drive impactful campaigns and always-on presence
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop the brand’s marketing strategies aligned with overall brand objectives
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, platforms, and potential influencers for brand collaboration
  • Identify industry trends, and pivot our strategies to ensure we are staying ahead of the curve when it comes to market activity
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and objectives
  • Coordinate content creation, timelines, and deliverables with influencers to maximize campaign effectiveness
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization
  • Staying on top of industry trends and social trends to jump onto the right opportunities
  • Build a sizeable and scalable community of Shark Beauty fans and advocates driving WOM advocacy
  • Leading a small but nimble team including managing EMEA team members
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including FTC guidelines and disclosure requirements. Review and approve content to ensure it meets brand standards and legal obligations
  • Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholder, acting as the primary point of contact for Shark Beauty and addressing any issues or concerns promptly
  • Provide guidance, support, and resources to the wider team to enhance collaboration and performance
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as creative, PR, and product marketing to align social media activity with broader marketing initiatives
  • Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and performance metrics effectively across the organization
  • Be the centre of excellence for EMEA influencing plans across UK,FR, DACH, UAE, BENELUX, ITALY, SPAIN

SharkNinja has been in operation since 1994, which is testament to the quality and popularity of its products. Since its initial launch in Canada, the company has expanded into the US and the UK.
