Who you are

  • Experience - you have 3+ years of closing experience across SaaS, Agency or Martech
  • Expert relationship builder - you demonstrate natural ability to easily build a relationship with senior retail stakeholders

  • Be the conductor - You expertly deploy both Ometria and prospect stakeholders at the right time within a deal to get the best possible outcome
  • Market Knowledge - You are able to act as an advisor on industry trends for retail executives, sharing detailed knowledge of retail and relevant technologies
  • A 360 degree salesperson - You know how to work closely with a dedicated BDR, working alongside them to generate pipeline
  • A great writer - You’re comfortable relaying complex information in a simplistic and persuasive way

What the job involves

  • We’re looking for an Account Executive to join our London team
  • Your mission is to help expand Ometria’s customer base and become an expert within the retail MarTech industry
  • Deliver your closed won sales quota - your core outcome is to deliver your quarterly and annual sales target, in line with our overall sales KPIs which are currently an average contract value of over £100,000 and a win/loss ratio of over 30%
  • Relationship Building - You will foster and maintain relationships with senior retail stakeholders, ensuring that they know your value & take your call as a trusted professional
  • Generate Pipeline - You will generate and qualify opportunities alongside the BDR team by making calls, sending emails and using other channels
  • Deliver presentations and pitches - You will have total knowledge and ability to pitch our offering and demo the product both in a face to face and virtual environment
  • Follow internal sign-off process - You will manage the completion of commercial and legal terms by following the appropriate internal sign-off process. Set clear expectations to clients throughout the process and complete a thorough handover of the client to the Customer teams
  • CRM management - You will keep our CRM (Salesforce) up to date, filling in all fields required for the sales team’s operation, and be on top of your progress against targets

With a founding team that is experienced in marketing and advertising, it has had no trouble cementing itself as a strong option in the space, and continues to make strategic partnerships to bolster its offering. Impressively, a study examining the benefits of using the platform over three years found the company delivered 430% ROI to retailers, and Ometria also announced it is Positive Planet verified carbon neutral.
