Our take

With the rise in mental health awareness, healthcare institutions such as the NHS are under increasing pressure to provide the mental healthcare people need and deserve. Psyomics, a health-tech company based in Cambridge, is developing products and services to support healthcare professionals with more efficient treatment and care pathway planning.

The company's digital assessment platform, Censeo, streamlines mental health assessments whilst facilitating the closer investigation of particular concerns, patient history, and symptoms - allowing clinicians to make more informed decisions. By enabling the deeper understanding of mental health on an individual level, Psyomics supplies the means to tailor treatment approaches, fighting the one-size-fits-all mentality which has classically underpinned this healthcare.

The platform has been developed by psychiatrists and psychologists, ensuring it is clinically-led and research-first, and it has received positive feedback from both GPs and patients. With strong funding secured, Psyomics is looking to expand its reach, grow its team, and expand further across the NHS as it showcases how its technology can have a positive affect for mental health patients across the board.
