What the job involves

  • The Team Lead role is a unique opportunity to help build a high-performing, US Sales Team at Too Good To Go
  • You’ll drive impact through coaching, developing, and scaling a fast growing team of Sales Specialists
  • Coaching and Development
  • Ability to effectively coach on pitch, negotiation, & closing techniques
  • Skilled in teaching others sales tactics & best practices
  • Help develop and execute sales trainings
  • Leadership/People Management
  • Lead by example (behaviour and sales ability)
  • Ability to cascade messaging appropriately
  • Active listening, thorough 1:1’s, and clean team presentations

Too Good To Go connects customers to restaurants and stores that have unsold, surplus food, offering steep discounts. Through this, businesses can sell surplus meals that would've otherwise gone to waste, and the environment wins as no food is wasted.

The company has certainly found its niche with sustainability-conscious consumers (a group that is growing in size as environmentally-focused consumers get more spending power). Too Good To Go's app has over 70 million users across 17 countries and 18,000 partners including retailers, hotels and restaurants such as ALDI, Carrefour, Accor and YO! Sushi.

The company is also creating a food waste movement website intended to be an informative source of knowledge regarding the issue. This is part of a wider strategy at raising awareness of the food waste problem, to get more users on board and further help the planet.
