Role

Who you are

  • Specifically, we're looking for an Enterprise Account Executive who resonates deeply with our mission and wants to help us build a top notch enterprise playbook
  • The ideal candidate is curious, loves going deep on product, and wants to be in a position to actually solve customer problems
  • They are thoughtful, organized, gritty and are comfortable engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders in large organizations
  • 3+ years of experience working as an Enterprise Account Executive, ideally in a fast-growing startup or larger tech company. More important than years of experience, you are a fast learner and excel in environments with ambiguous, challenging problems. We're happy to tailor scope, compensation, and title on experience!
  • Experience running complex, enterprise sales cycles, from pipeline generation through POCs and commercials
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and can build trust and rapport with others quickly
  • Experience learning new tools, processes and building things from scratch
  • You're based in New York City or San Francisco and comfortable commuting to the office ~3x a week

What the job involves

  • You'll be working closely with our Head of Sales and the rest of our GTM org in building the foundation of our enterprise sales organization. You will be a significant driver of revenue growth, evangelizing Parabola to enterprise businesses who can benefit immensely from adopting our Platform
  • Source and close new business to consistently meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas
  • Lead discovery calls with prospective customers, helping them identify meaningful initial use cases for Parabola
  • Lead demos and manage POCs for leading retail, freight and other operationally complex businesses looking to deploy Parabola across their company
  • Share learnings from customer conversations with product, engineering, and design teams
  • Develop custom pricing plans to drive the initial sale and meaningful expansion

Our take

The Parabola platform aims to simplify the automation of regular tasks. Using a drag-and-drop interface, Parabola eliminates the need for programming knowledge and enables users to automate repetitive tasks within programmes such as Excel or Google Sheets and between software, for example, taking data from Salesforce to send targeted emails to a specific set of customers.

With the aid of an $8M financing round led by Matrix Partners, the company has created a Shopify connector, taking advantage of the upsurge in online shopping and opening up to a potentially huge market of e-commerce businesses.

There are several other successful businesses such as Integrify and RoboTask, each with similar offerings for task automation. Parabola differentiates itself from these competitors with the continued innovation around e-commerce, with the integration of the Shopify platform, a huge time saver for online retailers.
