Who you are

  • A bachelor's degree (preferably in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field)
  • Experience in the full lifecycle of product development, from need analysis to beta testing and documentation
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex topics to any audience
  • Experience analyzing customer requests with the ability to synthesize and abstract information
  • Strong presentation skills, with a focus on visual and concise communication
  • Proficiency in Spanish, Italian, and English (able to participate effectively in meetings with internal and external clients)

  • At least 2 years of professional experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Project Manager
  • Experience in organizations operating in the healthcare sector (private facilities, insurance / fund or national health authority)
  • Familiarity with SaaS web applications and third-party integrations
  • Ability to create basic mockups or diagrams
  • Additional language skills (Portuguese, Catalan)

What the job involves

  • This position focuses specifically on our CONNECT product, a pivotal component of Tuotempo
  • CONNECT serves as a comprehensive hub for digital services, bridging patients, insurance companies, hospitals, and medical service providers
  • It is designed to streamline processes, making healthcare more efficient and user-friendly for all stakeholders involved
  • We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Junior Product Manager to collaborate in the enhancement of CONNECT
  • In the coming months, in both Spain and Italy market, we aim to extend our Connect solution digitalizing the entire process to achieve the following results:
  • Optimize Clinic Operations: Streamline administrative tasks, enabling clinic operators to focus more on patient care
  • Reduce Patient Waiting Time: Minimize the time patients spend waiting at reception, enhancing their overall experience
  • Enable Digital Check-In: Provide a seamless, digital check-in process for patients, ensuring a smooth arrival at the clinic
  • Our ultimate goal is to make the overall process as humane and easy as possible for all the stakeholders: insurances/funds hospital/clinics and patients, to book and perform medical services, whether through private health insurances or the national health service
  • Drive product innovation and evolution by gathering customer requests and providing developers with clear instructions for new features
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to analyze customer needs and integrate our solutions into their infrastructure
  • Get hands-on with application logs, displaying curiosity and problem-solving skills in identifying errors
  • Validate proposed solutions with the development team, assess risks, and negotiate compromises
  • Offer second-level support to internal teams (Sales, Customer Success, Customer Support, Project Management) and external clients
  • Maintain and update documentation for new and existing features
  • Execute testing or create test plans for developments, whether described by you or others
  • Prepare operational analyses for new features, including mockups, flow diagrams, and user journeys
  • Create concise and effective presentations to validate proposed solutions with internal and external stakeholders
  • Convert process flows into detailed flowcharts
  • Train internal teams on the product
  • Leverage synergies across Tuotempo’s modules and products

Application process

  • Submit previous experience material: we will request you to provide an example of an analysis of a new module stemming from a customer requirement you have worked on in the past two years
  • HR Interview: Meet with a member of our HR team to discuss your interests and motivations (1 hour)
  • Business Case: You will have one week to complete a Business case
  • Hiring Manager interview: Present your business case to the hiring manager (1,5 hours)
  • Last interview with the hiring manager and the VP of Product (30 min)

The company offers a suite of administrative tools for 30M patients and around 2M doctors worldwide, including workflow digitisation and appointment booking services. The company currently operate in 13 countries, hit Unicorn status in 2021, and has been riding a recent wave of digital transformation and workforce overburdening in the healthcare sector which has spurred on demand for precisely the kind of services they provide. So it’s safe to say business is going well.

What is most compelling about Docplanner’s business journey has been its long-brewing competition with their direct competitor, the fellow Unicorn and better-funded Doctolib. The tête-à-tête with this French/German rival has seen both parties making aggressive European expansion with national acquisitions - Doctolib in Italy, France, and Germany; Docplanner in Turkey, Poland, Spain, and Latin America. With Docplanner’s 2021 acquisition of German parallel platform Jameda, however, they are making moves on Doctolib’s home turf. The company has also acquired MyDr, a leading Polsih tech solutions provider.

These broad consolidation moves represent a maturation of the healthtech market which will serve both competitors well. Docplanner is certainly a key and aggressive contender in this race - and this company isn't going anywhere any time soon.
