What the job involves

  • We are seeking a Business Development Associate to join our team
  • Reporting to the Director of Corporate Development, this position owns new business opportunities that includes planning, advancing, and executing opportunities with both new and existing partners
  • You will be working closely with executive leadership at K Health to grow partner relationships
  • The Business Development Associate will own the end-to-end process of new business development, requiring collaboration across different areas of the business including Finance, Legal, Clinical, and Product/Engineering
  • As a Business Development Associate you will be part of the Corporate Development organization
  • This organization is focused on three things: (1) building new partnerships, (2) deepening existing relationships, and (3) creating new business models
  • Our partnership efforts center primarily around health systems but may expand based on business model needs
  • Cultivating and nurturing relationships with key external stakeholders to advance partnership opportunities and problem-solve
  • Communicating the value proposition of partnering with K Health, including pitching, demoing, and describing the depth of K Health to relevant stakeholders (e.g., clinical, finance, IT, operations, strategy)
  • Creating and evaluating business plans for new potential partnerships; includes both qualitative strategic plans as well as quantitative financial plans
  • Performing quantitative and qualitative analysis while synthesizing relevant information to support internal decision making and discussions with external stakeholders
  • Providing structure and process, both internally and externally, to advance projects in a timely and organized manner
  • Collecting and organizing
  • Collaborating with program management to support implementation of new partnerships
  • Collaborating with account management to stand-up ongoing partnerships
  • Ensuring the best of K Health is shared with relevant external stakeholders
  • Educating the K Health internal organization about new partnerships
  • Additionally, Business Development Associates will become experts in K Health’s offerings and partnerships model, with the following non-core responsibilities
  • Conducting market analysis to refine K Health’s partnership strategy
  • Supporting sourcing opportunities with potential partners via various channels, managing leads, and leading B2B marketing efforts
  • Participating in contract negotiations and conducting supporting analysis as needed
  • Bringing new business models and business context to existing partnerships
  • Remaining up-to-speed on K Health’s latest technology, clinical, and data science advances
