Who you are

  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in an inbound and outbound sales environment
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, having led a sales team for a minimum of 2+ years in a fast pace environment
  • Self starting ability with proven success in developing and implementing processes across a team
  • Ability to effectively organize and manage company initiatives
  • Strong and proactive sales skills and motivation to showcase expertise when engaging with clients over the phone
  • Experience working within various CRM systems and Excel/Google Sheets

What the job involves

  • We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Inbound Sales Team Lead to join our team in New York City, NY and help drive our sales efforts to new heights
  • As the Inbound Sales Team Lead, you will embody the player-coach approach by leading a team of 6-8 inside sales representatives while actively participating in sales activities to achieve targets and deliver exceptional performance
  • You will act as a mentor and support the daily team functions by establishing and reviewing KPIs and maintaining the inbound lead funnel
  • Your role will involve developing and implementing sales strategies, coaching team members, and fostering a high-performance sales culture
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of inside sales representatives while actively participating in sales activities to achieve individual and team sales targets
  • Monitor daily performance and fostering development
  • Set and track KPI targets for team members; working closely with Sales Executives to ensure they are not only meeting but also exceeding targets
  • Dive deep into the data to identify key metrics for success, locate and bolster areas in need of improvement, and properly forecast and project yearly/quarterly performance
  • Drive behaviors which keep the team motivated and on a cohesive path to success
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across functions to ensure the Inside Sales team is aligned with overall company goals and objectives

Lenus offers health and nutrition professionals an IT platform through which they can furnish their customers with online coaching and customised workout/nutrition plans. The idea is to shoulder some of the administrative burden of running and scaling a health business: whilst individualised client sessions are growing in popularity, they’re a tough model for one coach to handle profitably.

Over recent years the company has opened subsidiary offices in Sweden, Britain, and Germany, and closed Denmark’s largest-ever Series A round - so appetite for Lenus’ services is clearly strong. This could be down, at least in part, to an increasing number of health and lifestyle coaches going independent following the shuttering of businesses over the pandemic. Plus, of course, the sustained interest in at-home services even after gyms re-opened.

Whilst customer figures are difficult to come by for Lenus, it reports 300% growth for four consecutive years since its inception. This is a remarkable trajectory, and the company plans to cement it with the addition of an online coaching school, funded by its 2021 Series A. Further funding in 2023 will be invested in product innovation and further expansion abroad. The US is currently one of its largest markets.
