• Proven leadership and mentorship experience guiding data engineering teams
• Extensive hands-on experience with Data Lakehouse architectures and implementation
• Proficiency in Python and Airflow
• Solid understanding of Data Mesh principles
• Expertise in AWS services and Advanced SQL
• Experience with data modeling and knowledge of medallion architecture
• Familiarity with Terraform

• You will lead a team of middle and senior data engineers to implement and maintain best practices in data processing, according to the Data Lakehouse approach. You will:
• Participate in our data transformation program
• Design and build data collection, real time ingestion, and validation pipelines from various sources
• Propose and build our AI robust foundations with data scientists
• Collaborate with Devops and DevXp teams to implement engineering best practices
• Lead by example, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the data engineering team, ensuring collaboration and alignment with broader business and product objectives
• Mentor and upskill team members
• Propose and validate architecture designs with Data Architects
• Coordinate and run Proofs of Concept (POCs)
• Refactor and improve the orchestration design using Airflow
• Management, Architecture, Upskilling = 70%, Hands-On = 30%
