Corporate Counsel, Kate Farms

• Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Bar Admission: Active membership in good standing with a state bar
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant legal experience, with a focus on transactions, contracts, FDA regulatory matters, and privacy
• Skills: Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• The Corporate Counsel role involves drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, ensuring FDA regulatory compliance, advising on privacy and data protection, conducting legal research, and managing legal risks
• Transactional and Contractual Support: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including supply, distribution, and partnership contracts
• Regulatory Compliance: Provide legal guidance on FDA regulatory matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Privacy and Data Protection: Advise on privacy issues and data protection laws, and, to ensure the company's practices align with legal requirements
• Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support business operations and strategic initiatives
• Collaboration and Communication: Update senior lawyers within the department on legal developments and report directly to the Senior Corporate Counsel
• Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the protection of the company's interests
• This position will work in a corporate office with the potential flexibility of working from a home/office environment part of the week
