Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Experience in marketing, with a focus on events and social media
- Demonstrated experience in event management, including coordinating attendance at large industry conferences
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail
- Creative problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Junior Marketing Associate to support our team in events and social media outreach, the role is a temp, 4-month contract
- Work with the Developer advocate to develop a calendar of Tyk-owned/hosted events
- Plan and execute Tyk-owned/hosted events
- Coordinate attendance at major industry conferences globally
- Organise and manage regional meetups
- Handle logistics, budgeting, and vendor relationships
- Order swag and other assets needed for conferences or events
- Measure event success and report on key metrics
- Liaise with the sales team to manage post-event follow-up and outreach
- Develop and maintain a social media calendar aligned with the content strategy
- Create and schedule engaging content across various platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram
- Monitor and respond to social media interactions
- Analyse social media performance and suggest improvements
- Assist with marketing campaigns and initiatives
- HubSpot operational support including event setup and execution
- Contribute to content creation for various channels
- Liaising with the sales team to support on sales/commercial initiatives
