Role
Who you are
- Extensive experience with Tableau development, including dashboard creation, report generation, and data visualization
- Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation
- Experience with data blending, data aggregation, and creating complex calculated fields in Tableau
- Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels
- Proven track record of delivering successful Tableau projects
- Experience working in a highly secure environment, preferably within the public sector or similar
- Security Clearance: Must hold a valid SC Clearance
What the job involves
- We are in search of a talented and dynamic Tableau Developer to contribute on a critical project
- The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless data transition, focusing on maintaining integrity, optimizing performance, and meeting project deadlines
- Develop and Maintain Tableau Dashboards:
- Design, develop, and deploy interactive and visually appealing Tableau dashboards and reports
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all visualizations
- Collaborate with Stakeholders:
- Work closely with business users to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Provide training and support to end-users on Tableau functionalities
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Generate ad-hoc reports as needed to support business decisions
- Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Perform thorough testing of Tableau dashboards and reports to ensure they meet business requirements
- Identify and resolve any data discrepancies or visualization issues
- Documentation and Best Practices:
- Document processes, data sources, and dashboard/report designs
- Adhere to and promote best practices for data visualization and Tableau development
