Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, related field or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role
- Experience working in Crypto, BD for blockchain Layer 1 or 2
- Familiarity with and keen interest in emerging technologies, particularly AI and web3
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using CRM software (preferably HubSpot)
- Strong research and analytical skills
What the job involves
- As a web3 Business Development Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of our company's ecosystem growth strategy
- Your primary role will be business development focused on identifying and nurturing partnership opportunities, building relationships with prospective partners, and laying the groundwork for our ecosystem
- This role requires web3 experience and a blend of research skills, excellent communication, and a results-driven mindset
- You'll also represent our company at industry events, expanding our network and brand presence
- Prospect and identify potential partners (web3, AI, blockchain) through various channels including networking events, online research, and social media platforms
- Actively seek out projects to build on Sahara Labs and partners to integrate with our platform
- Attend blockchain conferences, AI symposiums, and Web3 networking events
- Create and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads to the expand partnership pipeline
- Build and maintain relationships with partners
- Research target blockchain and AI partners to understand their needs
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and refine outreach strategies as well as co-marketing opportunities with partners
- Track and report on key performance metrics, including outreach and leads generated
- Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities in Hubspot
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitors
