Who you are
- At least 6+ months of experience in a customer facing role
- You have a “hunter” mentality. You (would) love the challenge of outbound sales and convincing leads of our value proposition
- Strong communication skills in both German (native level) and English (Business proficiency)
- You value drive, intelligence and honesty and you are a coachable team player
What the job involves
- We are on the lookout for a Sales Development Representative to join our DACH sales team in Barcelona
- As a Sales Development Representative DACH market your challenge is to assist in increasing Sensorfact’s client base through Germany, Austria and Switzerland
- You will be responsible for presenting our value proposition to customers via cold acquisition (cold calling) and setting up product demonstrations between the potential customers and our Account Executives
- Conduct customer research (prospect leads)
- Reach out to potential high value customers via phone, email or video call
- Convince business owners and senior executives of our value proposition
- Convert leads by setting up product demonstrations with the potential customers and our Account Executives
- Actively invest in your sales skills and career via our training program and rapid growth path (to Junior Account Executive or Team Lead Sales Development) that we offer Sales Development Representatives
Our take
With a vision to reducing the waste generated by industrial processes, Sensorfact supplies monitoring systems to manage energy, gas, and water usage, as well as predictive maintenance for preventing machine failure.
Utilised by manufacturers worldwide, including the likes of Dunlop and Mitsubishi, Sensorfact's products empower its clients to take control of classically wasteful processes, and make changes where they will have the most impact.
The company has seen significant investment to support further product development and expansion into the DACH-region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), including opening an office in Berlin. Serving 40 countries worldwide, Sensorfact has already contributed hundreds of GWh of savings, equivalent to the annual energy consumption of more than 30,000 households, and, with such a huge market before them, will be an intriguing one to watch.
