Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Advertising, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in an Affiliate Marketing
  • Understanding and experience with large affiliate platforms such as Impact Radius
  • Understanding of Google Analytics
  • Demonstrated ability to creatively conceive and execute strategic project plans

What the job involves

  • As our Affiliate Marketing Specialist you will play an integral role in managing and scaling our Affiliate channel
  • This role sits on our industry leading performance marketing team and will have ownership of a comprehensive affiliate program in the the exciting industry of live events!
  • This role will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and improving relationships with media publishers, influencers, and other affiliate partners
  • Negotiate and manage contracts and commission structures for affiliates
  • Manage relationships with key affiliate partners; understand drivers of performance and identify opportunities to increase volume
  • Meet regularly with partners (via phone and in person as needed) to strengthen relationships
  • Pull reports from affiliate networks and vendors and understand exactly what they mean and why
  • Provide weekly insights and optimizations for each brand with program metrics such as number of affiliate partners recruited, conversion rates, number of conversions generated per affiliate, ROI, ROAS, etc
  • 30 days:
  • Complete new hire orientation, gaining the resources you need to be successful
  • Learn how ticket marketplaces operate and how you will contribute to providing great experiences for our customers
  • Acclimate to team and company norms, business objectives, and Vivid Seats values
  • Review current marketing strategy and gain understanding of current and planned projects, cost and expected results
  • Understanding of all affiliate strategies
  • Understanding of current measurement platforms
  • 60 days:
  • Enhance our approaches, methods, or technologies to mitigate risks and improve efficiencies
  • Dive deep into the data and share input in daily stand-ups + weekly performance reviews, making recommendations and highlighting insights
  • Analyze media spend mix across the regions and strategies to help the company achieve a higher ROI on ad spend
  • Assist with a testing roadmap that includes scaling existing affiliate strategies and introduce new partners to the marketing mix
  • 90 days:
  • Design and implement process improvements that positively impact the business
  • Establish standard operating procedures for testing to effectively challenge legacy strategies and promote innovative ideas across affiliate
  • Compile industry challenges, news, opportunities, and trends for the team to utilize towards greater strategy development and optimization
