Role

Who you are

  • You have 7+ years of experience in business development, or a Country/Regional Manager role in a tech company
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or another analytical subject
  • You have well-developed project management skills and the ability to manage various internal and external stakeholders from around the world
  • You have strong commercial skills and the ability to build and maintain a robust network in the mobility ecosystem
  • You have solid project management skills
  • You have solid presentation skills and an understanding of basic financial modeling

What the job involves

  • You will enable and help grow a portfolio of strategic initiatives across the Ride-hailing vertical
  • Your ability to understand specific market context, maintain a strong network of potential partners and project manage deals throughout their life cycle including implementation would be key attributes for your success in the role
  • Collaborate closely with Partnerships, Investments, and ride-hailing leadership to pinpoint robust partners in the vehicles financing sector, and drive strategic fleet business development efforts within the region
  • Own OEM discussions and collaboration at the Bolt group level, and originate meaningful partnerships that will accelerate the ride-hailing growth agenda over the next years
  • Help source and operationally set up captive financing opportunities, including strategic partnerships with prominent players in the space
  • Serve as a Project Management Office (PMO) for strategic partnership initiatives, ensuring seamless collaboration across various departments
  • Establish relationships with prospective and existing partners, ideate and design creative fleet growth initiatives, and expand a substantial network of car rental, new fintech, and car dealership entities active in the ride-hailing domain
  • Support existing and new partners in expediting deployment and scaling post-deal execution, facilitating access to Bolt's resources and teams

Their strategy is to focus on markets where Uber used to have a monopoly and then they come in with a better offering for drivers

Bolt has the ability to grow aggressively for now as they're well financed. They face a similar to challenge to Uber in that no company in this space has established a profitable business model that isn't propped up by investors with deep pockets. Creating a sustainable model that's better for drivers than Uber is the way Bolt can win
