Who you are

  • This role requires a strategic leader who can craft and implement comprehensive SEO strategies, optimize website infrastructure, and integrate SEO with overall business goals
  • 8-10 years of SEO experience, preferably in B2B SaaS
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful large-scale SEO strategies, including in the US
  • Deep understanding of technical SEO, content strategy, and user experience optimizations with a clear track record of driving growth
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey complex SEO strategies to stakeholders at all levels

What the job involves

  • As the Global SEO Manager/ Director, you will lead our organization's SEO initiatives, focusing on scaling our website's visibility and search performance across diverse international markets
  • Develop and execute a global SEO strategy that aligns with the company’s objectives and boosts our website's visibility and user engagement
  • Conduct high-level SEO audits and continuous analysis to identify strategic opportunities and optimize website performance
  • Collaborate with IT and web development teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into website architecture and new page designs
  • Guide keyword research and SEO tactics that cater to market trends and customer behaviour across different regions
  • Oversee the monitoring, tracking, and reporting on SEO progress with actionable insights for continuous improvement
  • Manage relationships with SEO agencies and technology vendors to ensure service excellence and alignment with our SEO goals
  • Educate and train internal teams on SEO strategies and best practices to ensure SEO knowledge is embedded within the company culture
  • Stay abreast of the latest SEO trends and changes in algorithms, applying insights to maintain competitive advantage

Our take

Call centres have been a mainstay of sales teams for decades, with the human touch delivering an impression conversion rate of about 30% for inbound calls. However analogue call centres are physical infrastructure-heavy and unable to take advantage of the flexibility afforded by remote and hybrid ways of work. Aircall exists to change that, providing a cloud-based call centre infrastructure that allows sales teams to work from their home offices.

Aircall isn't the only company in this space, and it faces heavy competition from Cloudtalk, another cloud-based call centre solution. However Aircall stands out in the market by its use of open APIs and webhooks, making integration with existing productivity and helpdesk tools much easier, and its superior call quality. Aircall has developed a significant customer base with these strengths, with over 15,000 companies using its platform.

The company has raised significant funding in recent years, highlighting the confidence investors have in their offering. With a rapidly expanding presence in the US, European, UK and Australian markets and recent refresher leadership hires, Aircall could soon be a widely recognised international player in the telephone software industry.
