  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in content strategy, with a proven track record of successful content campaign development. Experience in B2B SaaS and software content production is crucial
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing innovative content strategies and campaigns
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a clear understanding of how content efforts align with overall business objectives and brand strategy

What the job involves

  • As a Content Strategist at Gelato, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and executing a comprehensive content strategy that amplifies our brand presence and engages our diverse audiences
  • Your primary responsibilities include developing and managing content initiatives that align with Gelato's business goals, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging, and utilizing data-driven insights to optimize content performance
  • By providing strategic direction and leveraging your expertise in content creation, you contribute to Gelato's narrative across B2B (GelatoCreate), B2C (Optimalprint), and PSP-focused (GelatoConnect) domains
  • Create and implement a robust content strategy that aligns with Gelato's overall marketing objectives and brand vision
  • Oversee the development, production, and curation of high-quality content across various channels, including blogs, social media, email campaigns, and websites
  • Work closely with marketing, product, and design teams to ensure content is aligned with broader marketing campaigns and product launches
  • Conduct audience research to understand the needs, preferences, and behaviours of our target audiences, tailoring content to resonate with them
  • Establish and maintain editorial standards and guidelines to ensure all content is on-brand, high-quality, and consistent in style and tone
  • Regularly communicate content strategy, results, and recommendations to the wider team and stakeholders
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating them into the content strategy to keep it current and effective
  • Collaborate across the marketing team to develop and maintain a comprehensive content calendar that aligns with the company's values and resonates with target audiences
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and measurement metrics, monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of content initiatives, adjusting strategies based on data-driven insights
  • Optimize content for SEO, monitor performance metrics, and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights to enhance visibility and engagement

Gelato’s printing software network allows creators to print and ship from hyperlocal locations. This in turn allows them to deliver products within less time, for less money, and with a much smaller carbon footprint.

Interestingly, Gelato is a printing platform with no printing hardware of its own. Rather, they partner with on-demand printing services all around the world, which their customers can access through the platform.

Though it may sound like quite a niche business model, the surge in e-commerce-driven creators means that the market is growing rapidly. Indeed the market for customised products is well on its way to reaching around $300 billion, and Gelato includes the likes of Wix and Canva among its customers.

The company has grown steadily since its 2007 launch, increasing its global footprint year after year. Future growth seems certain, as Gelato aims for further expansion in the US and Asia.
