Year on year, the surge of people wanting to live a healthier, happier lifestyle outgrows itself. Suffice to say, there will always be a market for fitness apps, with the market projected to grow by around 30% by 2028. Gymondo is a company operating in this space, offering a portable digital fitness coach and healthy meal planning.

Primarily targeted towards women, the company offers a diverse range of workout options through which users can track their success, and also provides a range of healthy recipes and nutrition plans. Since founding in 2013, the app has become the leading D2C online fitness platform in the DACH region and boasts a strong half a million subscribers.

Of course, alongside the benefits of operating in a lucrative space, there are also a number of rivals, and standing out will be key to Gymondo's future success. That said, the company's wellness-first approach and fun and light aesthetic has clearly lured customers in so far, so it definitely has a chance to capture the space.
