There is a worldwide nursing shortage, with burnout common among healthcare professionals, leaving many healthcare employers to increasingly rely on data-driven recruitment tools such as Medely. By offering greater flexibility, and bringing casual work to healthcare, the company aims to reduce shortages and increase industry retention - even giving workers who previously left the sector a way back in.

Medely has secured a good stance in the field of the nursing gig economy, with several thousands of hospitals and outpatient facilities using the company for their staffing needs.
