Xav Kearney

CTO of Otta

With the rise of the desk-less workforce and the on-demand economy, the way that companies hire, train and engage with their workforce has drastically changed. This calls for new, user-friendly solutions that allow companies to embrace changes and continue to thrive. eduMe is a mobile-based Workforce Success tool for training, informing and engaging the desk-less workforce.

Using lessons to train, messages for instant broadcasts and surveys to capture feedback, the platform enables powerful knowledge retention. This has proven to be an appealing proposition, especially for enterprise-scale companies like Uber, Airbnb, Vodafone and Deloitte.

By offering immediate access to information eduMe promises companies the ability to create a more knowledgeable and engaged workforce. This has allowed eduMe to help its customers achieve high double-digit increases across business-critical areas such as productivity, engagement and quality. eduMe is used in more than 30 countries across 6 continents, catering to a wide range of industries including ride hailing, food delivery, logistics, mobile network operators, retail, hospitality and healthcare.

Company values

  • We respect each other - We achieve more working together, and the team always comes before self. We respect each other, and each personโ€™s contribution to the team
  • We deliver results - We fight for every inch; we will go further than expected, and further than others would do. We are outcome orientated - output matters more than input, or what we say. We are fast-paced, and innovative. We are not afraid of trying new things - in fact, we thrive on being different, and doing things nobody else would
  • We are humble - There is always more to learn, and we can always improve on what we have already achieved. We are never arrogant, in any shape or form. We believe shipping is the best way to learn as a product is never final, and we are never finished. We keep iterating forever, as it can always be better
  • We act with transparency - We believe in a free-flow of information, as it makes us a stronger unit. We donโ€™t play any games, and we donโ€™t believe in internal politics. We share best practice; knowledge is shared extensively, which elevates us as a team, and as a company
  • Our work has impact - We are passionate about what we do - this is more than just a job, we feel a sense of achievement and fulfillment. We have impact; itโ€™s not just about making money, but improving the lives of our users. What we do actually matters to people, other than ourselves. We have fun; going to work should be about more than just doing your hours
