What the job involves

  • The Fuse team is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to contribute to the technical integration strategy that will be used by multiple Amazon businesses through dozens of international markets
  • The role provides provides high visibility and the opportunity to work with both Amazon internal teams as well as external customers
  • This role requires working closely with business, engineering and marketing leaders across Amazon and with external partners
  • The role will define success measures for roadmap items and demonstrate measurable impact on those success metrics
  • This role will partner with engineering teams to develop ways to identify improvements for scaling internal services
  • The Technical Program Manager will gather business requirements from downstream users: other engineering teams, business partners
  • As a Technical Program Manager on Fuse, you'll help drive the coordination and technical scale of the product over the next 2 years
  • You'll be able to work with ambiguity, be a self-starter, and raise the bar on ownership and earns trust
  • The Technical Program Manager will have the opportunity to raise the bar on technical collaborative working models and build a sustainable channel for Amazon

On top of this, the company's e-commerce division is facing profitability problems despite its 2023 post-IPO debt funding of 8 billion. It will need to find new ways to stay above their competitors.
