What the job involves
- ClickUp is looking for a driven senior software engineer to join our Core Services team
- As a Senior Software Engineer, Core Services at ClickUp, you will help to design and deliver scalable distributed shared services used by other engineering teams
- Build upon and integrate customer feedback both internal and external into our API tooling and services
- Create new architectural foundations and mission critical distributed systems while collaborating with other teams
- Work within an agile scrum-based engineering team reporting to the Senior Manager of Core Services
- Uphold the highest levels of customer satisfaction in all things you do
- Advocate, create, and maintain API governance across engineering through collaboration, automation and outreach
- Own integration within our API Gateway layer and API lifecycles from design to production
- Identify improvements to the design and implementation of various new and existing critical shared services
- Help to grow our infrastructure engineering organization's shared services relied upon by other engineering teams to accelerate product development

As it grows its footprint in Asia and Europe, where nearly half of its customers are based, it has also unveiled a new version of its platform which integrates AI writing and advanced search tools.
