Our take

Modern businesses receive (and require) a constant torrent of data from both inside and outside the business, but data is commonly hard to reconcile across the organisation, leading to large amounts of money and time thrown at making information work across an operation. TimeXtender exists to solve this problem with a platform that can integrate data from numerous sources and create a single "source of truth" from which applications can easily draw information.

TimeXtender's unique selling point is the simplicity of its low-code platform and the ease of scalability compared to other data preparation platforms. The company claims that it can empower its users to build data solutions 10 times faster, while reducing costs from manual validation by up to 80%. This has earned it a customer base of over 3,300 teams including Colliers International, Direct Relief and Komatsu.

In 2022, TimeXtender was acquired by Nordic investment firm Monterro. This has allowed TimeXtender to scale to serve its growing customer base and to further develop its product. As companies will increasingly need solutions to effectively collect, manage and analyse their data, TimeXtender is in a good position to develop into a market leader in this space.
