What the job involves

  • We are seeking an experienced Sr. Director, Content, Events & PR to lead a team of professionals to deliver a unique strategy that meaningfully impacts our business
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the team, setting clear goals, priorities, and performance expectations
  • Collaborate closely with other departments, including executive leadership, sales, demand generation, web & creative teams to ensure alignment of messaging, goals, and strategies across all initiatives
  • Drive measurable outcomes including warm & hot leads that translate into revenue for the business
  • Support the team to deliver their best work and optimize for business impact
  • Effectively coach and guide team through any ambiguity and shifting priorities
  • Lead development and execution of a comprehensive strategy aligned with the company’s brand identity, target audience, SEO and business objectives
  • Own overarching Marketing Content Calendar
  • Lead a team of content creators to produce engaging content across various channels and formats, such as long-form guides, blog posts, videos, infographics, and social posts
  • Ensure content is compelling, relevant, and optimized for SEO to drive engagement, traffic, and lead generation
  • Closely monitor content performance metrics, analyze data insights, and adjust content strategy as needed to meet KPIs and business goals
  • Develop and execute an events strategy that aligns with company objectives, target audience, and budget considerations
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of events, including conferences and webinars
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of events, including venue selection, logistics, agenda development, speaker coordination, and attendee experience
  • Evaluate event performance and ROI, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices to enhance future events
  • Lead a proactive public relations strategy to increase brand visibility, thought leadership and generate positive media coverage
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media contacts, influencers, industry analysts, and other stakeholders to secure media placements, interviews, and speaking opportunities
  • Deliver press releases, media pitches, and other communication materials, and coordinate media outreach and responses to media inquiries
  • Monitor media coverage and industry trends, track PR metrics, and provide regular reports and insights
  • Develop and manage budgets for events, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
  • Strong financial acumen to ensure cost-effective planning while maintaining high-quality experiences
  • Ability to track and analyze effectiveness of content, events & PR
  • Work with team to provide insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), aligned with team OKRs
